Private Finance is pleased to welcome the latest addition to its Shrewsbury-based broking team, Isabelle Marpole. Marpole will be responsible for maintaining Private Finance’s local connections, ensuring that its standards remain high while it looks to expand and build its client base throughout the Midlands and North-west.

Marpole’s appointment coincides with the opening of the firm’s first regional office outside of London. The office, based in Shrewsbury, has the capacity for up to 20 staff members, providing ample space for Ryan Garbett, Private Finance director and head of its Northern branch, to assemble a team of brokers with which to enhance the firm’s presence in the North.

Prior to joining Private Finance, Marpole worked at Handelsbanken as part of their private banking and local lending team. In this capacity, she had been responsible for providing bespoke banking solutions and mortgage advice to personal banking customers. Garbett believes that Marpole’s experience and skillset make her a perfect fit for the role, providing the firm with a lender’s perspective that will help it better meet the needs of its clients.

Marpole said: ‘After five years working at Handelsbanken, building a broad understanding of the financial world, I knew I wanted to specialise in mortgages. I’d crossed paths with Ryan and his team on a number of occasions, and knew them to be an extremely competent outfit, so when the opportunity to join them presented itself, I knew I had to take it.

‘I’m extremely excited to be part of such a knowledgeable and ambitious team of brokers and hope that I can play my part in helping the firm achieve its goals over the coming years.’
